overview
Throughout the Villains series, the Odd Sisters have meddled in the lives of the Wicked Queen, The Beast, Ursula, Maleficent, and Mother Gothel, changing the course of fate for the greatest villains ever known. Now, it’s time for their reckoning.

This latest novel by the author of the wildly popular Villains series goes deeper into the lives of the twisted, diabolical Odd Sisters, finally revealing the dark truth about who they are and where they’re from . The Odd Sisters will appeal to fans who can’t get enough of the mischievous sisters, as well as draw new readers to Serena Valentino’s darkly fascinating take on the Disney Villains. (from Amazon)

Seeing The Odd Sisters make an appearance in literally every Villains book up to this point, I was excited to finally read the book that was about them in the series. However, this book wasn’t what I expected.

Now look, I like The Odd Sisters, they seemed to bring some entertainment to the previous books, but they always seemed to steal the show, which is what I disliked about their constant appearances. So I understand why everyone was saying they need their own book, because what is the backstory and why are they always meddling.

While we were giving some backstory, I personally felt kind of annoyed by them in the book. There was always a reflection to how they ruined the previous villain’s lives, which wasn’t really needed because…well…we read the previous books. It almost felt like filler, but nonetheless, I appreciate the backstory and getting to understand them more.

My Rating:

3 star
